Because I Can

A rollicking new farce Written by Allison McWood and Directed by Paul Bates

A psychopathic doctor is killing all his patients with the power of suggestion. He gives them all six months to live—and they obey him. From the author of Fringe hits, It Was Kit and Welcome to Eden, comes a new farce. Coming at you with a powerhouse cast of Second City and theatre veterans, Because I Can is just what the doctor prescribed for a dose of mind-bending comedy.

Wrapped in a beautiful mess of farcical escapades and mistaken identities, the play explores the theme of ‘Conscience.’ Who has one? More importantly, who doesn’t?

So don’t mind the elusive, Romanian janitor with the mop or the insecure, male nurse with the dripping syringe. Make an appointment for Because I Can. Mind control and identity fraud have never been this much fun!

Disclaimer: No psychopaths were harmed in the production of this play.
