Visa Called This Morning – Toronto Fringe 2011 Press Release

From press release

“Being in debt is stressful, laughing about is healthy”~JG

Her creditors are calling. Her bank accounts are freezing. There’s no more borrowed credit to use. Jen finds herself felling more like a criminal than a valued customer. A young woman is forced to reconcile her relationship with debt. Through song and storytelling this hilarious and emotional one woman show promises more than one character. Jen’s struggle to survive her maxed out reality leaves her realizing that, the banks don’t love you like your parents.

Visa Called this Morning is a comedic one woman show written and performed by Toronto comedian Jen Gallant. The Show premiered at the 2010 Hamilton Fringe Festival with wild success and will be joining the Toronto Fringe Festival July 6th-17th.

Visa Called this Morning takes a humorous look at the relationships we all have with money. Whether you’re rich, broke or just scraping by, problems still arise.
