When we post our weekly listings, you’ve probably noticed how we divide them into two sections: Already Covered, and “the rest”. Well, with a new year comes a whole whack of new shows that we’re excited to go see. Hopefully you’ll be excited, too, once you see how much is going on in Toronto this week! Anything highlighted in red with two asterisks specifically caught the eye of Wayne, our Managing Editor.
And now, the final Cheap Theatre listing for 2014! There’s a few really cool shows opening this week, and tickets for all of them happen to be available for $25 or less! So why not finish off your 2014 (and start off your 2015) with a little bit of Cheap Theatre?

It’s Christmas Eve Eve! Some people (most of us, let’s just be honest) are still hunting around for something to give to our loved ones (unless you don’t celebrate the holiday, which is cool, too!). A big part of Christmas is regifting, and it would be silly for us to have a Cheap Theatre listing today that didn’t focus on Christmas – so in that spirit, here are some shows playing in Toronto that are Christmas (or, at least, winter) themed. Some may have been on one of these lists before, but – ’tis the season! And all of the shows have tickets available for $26 or less!
