And now, you can watch this classical tale in puppet form – and a family friendly version at that. Romeo and Juliet…A Puppet Epic!, written and directed by Tom McGee, is playing at the Palmerson Library Theatre.

Gametes and Gonads (Active Salad) 2011 Toronto Fringe Review

Gametes and Gonads is a science fiction one man show (starring Jeff Leard) about what secretly goes on in the male and female body during the reproductive process. Millions of sperm prepare to infiltrate the stronghold of their enemy – the egg – while the eggs go about choosing one of their “sisters” for the monthly sacrifice to the goddesses. It’s currently playing at the Annex Theatre and you should absolutely go check it out.

Laurentina’s Funhouse (Laurentina’s Improv Club) 2011 Toronto Fringe Review

Laurentina (Lauren Stein) has given up a life in the circus to pursue her dream of becoming an accountant. Finally settled into an internship and a permanent home, she cannot help but dwell on the circus, and has invited you, her former colleagues under the big top, to come for a visit.  Laurentina’s Funhouse transforms a 2nd Floor Kensington Market apartment (51 Kensington Ave.) into a circus for a small audience of no more than 20 people.
