Originally from Montréal, I was really looking forward to seeing the Théâtre français de Toronto in action. Having seen many successful Molière productions as a child and teenager at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde for example, I had no idea what to expect Wednesday night and was curious to see how this ensemble would stand up next to other professional companies in the province of Québec. Let me just say that this was hands down the best piece of theatre I’ve seen in a while.
