Most of you, I’m assuming, spent this past long weekend lounging on your cottage deck. Well, the weekend’s over and it’s time to get out and see some theatre. Some cheap live theatre in the city of Toronto, to be exact. This week we have five shows for you to watch that cost under $20.
And on August 4th, the long-awaited SummerWorks Theatre Festival will begin. SummerWorks tickets are only $15 each, and money-saving passes are available too. This delightful juried festival invites the best performances of the Fringe Festival, uptown to the Toronto Centre for the Arts for bonus performances. In a single night you will be able to see two very different performances. Tickets are $15 and the full list of shows is available now at www.tocentre.com Tickets can be purchased through the Toronto Centre of the Arts website, and not through the Toronto Fringe Festival Box Office.
