Fringe for Free! Toronto Fringe ticket giveaways for shows playing on Thursday July 7th

Searching for free tickets to the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival? Mooney on Theatre will be holding a contest for shows every single day the Festival is running.

For today’s edition, we are giving away tickets for Thursday, July 7th performances. We have a whopping seven shows available for you to see with a guest:

The Paperbag Queen – To be entered into the draw for a pair of tickets to the 6 pm show at Theatre Passe Muraille Backstage, please send an email to contests@mooneyontheatre.com with the subject line “The Paperbag Queen contest” by 7pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011.

Bursting Into Flames – To be entered into the draw for a pair of tickets to the 6:30 pm show at Robert Gill Theatre (3rd Floor, entrance on St. George), please send an email to contests@mooneyontheatre.com with the subject line “Bursting Into Flames contest” by 7pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011.

Horse – To be entered into the draw for a pair of tickets to the 7 pm show at Last Temptation Restaurant and Bar, please send an email to contests@mooneyontheatre.com with the subject line “Horse contest” by 7pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011.

Mary’s Wedding – To be entered into the draw for a pair of tickets to the 8:15 pm show at Factory Mainstage, please send an email to contests@mooneyontheatre.com with the subject line “Mary’s Wedding contest” by 7pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011.

A Depper Kind of Love – To be entered into the draw for a pair of tickets to the 8:45 pm show at Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse, please send an email to contests@mooneyontheatre.com with the subject line “A Depper Kind of Love contest” by 7pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011.

A group of Toronto based activists come together during the G20 of 2010. As the events of the summit unfold, so do the personal lives of those involved. This is a story for those of us battling what it means to be young, to desire a future, a family without the foundation of a career or a plan. What it is to be of a media obsessed and politically apathetic generation. What it is to seek justice and change in the midst of a conservative chaos. Can these five activists make being political “cool” again? Can they change the views of those battling against them during the summit, or will the media win out once again? This story is for those of us that have dreams of a more progressive Canada as we slowly succumb to corporatism and rampant privatization.
