As You Lay Sleeping is a mesmerizing original musical about a woman unravelling the pain of a broken relationship and finding her way through to the other side. Playing as part of Fringe Primetime at the 2021 Digital Toronto Fringe Festival, this is a live feature-length digital experience that includes a pre-recorded middle act. Produced by Diapause Collective, this show is spellbinding and affecting, and a reminder of the magic of even partially live theatre.
Post-Humanum by CollectifBus 1.2.3 is currently playing On Demand as part of the 2021 Toronto Digital Fringe. You can catch this eclectic series of bizarre, futuristic, dystopian scenes featuring humans, gods, and robots online until July 31.
Post-Humanum is a commentary on contemporary technology and culture, which contemplates the trajectory of our digital age through a series of disjointed sketches.
Fast cars and even faster women. Evil Hot Rod by Cat Crew Inc, playing virtually at the 2021 Toronto Fringe Festival, is like if the T-Birds in Grease went evil. In this musical radio play set in 1950s New York, Tony Raggione is proud of his new hot rod purchase, despite what all his buddies say. This ride, Carmilla, may look like a hunk of metal that likely won’t make it off the lot, but Tony is determined to make her a lightning roadster… even if she happens to be evil.
