Fringe for Free – L’enfant et l’homme Friday July 10, 10pm

contest-web-graphic Don’t worry if you don’t speak French, L’enfant et l’homme has subtitles.  Although, I have also found that there is great interest and joy in watching something something strictly for the actions.  It’s a very interesting way to see a play.

To win a pair of free tickets to tonight’s 10pm showing of L’enfant et l’homme all you need to do is leave a comment* sometime before 8pm today (Friday) .

A poetic tale (delivered in French) for general audiences

L’enfant et l’homme is an encounter between two beings separated by everything — age, size, way of looking at the world.  Monsieur Luc broods in his kitchen, classifying, ordering, dwelling on his thoughts. A child invades the kitchen.  Monsieur Luc attempts to eject the little intruder, who persists and takes up residence… They struggle to understand each other.

The play breathes freshness, emotion, surprise… It is a French rendez-vous with laughter, silence, poetry.

Audience: General
