My extremely discerning and highbrow critical response on leaving this show was, and I quote, “So fun!” And it was! If you’re a fan of tap dancing and old MGM musicals, The Laundry List is guaranteed to please.

Getting older definitely sucks, so if you find yourself feeling Middle Raged, you can laugh along with Gary Pearson and Geri Hall at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival. Hall and Pearson wrote and perform this handful of sketches about parenting, sex, and body issues. Since both performers are alums of This Hour Has 22 Minutes, they definitely know what they’re doing in the comedy department.

It Girls (Emily Richardson) 2019 Toronto Fringe Review

If you enjoy fast-paced comedy and the smooth jams of early 2000s girl groups, I highly recommend Emily Richardson’s play It Girls, on now at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival. This musical comedy centers around the former mega-phenomenon band It Girls, who are reuniting after a 15-year break. Tensions are high among the women and musical tastes have changed, but the show must go on… if it isn’t mysteriously sabotaged first.
